a.j.hanlon

A young man named A.J.Hanlon was shot by a policeman under circumstances that demand a thorough investigation. No question about that. However, a blogger calling himself "bock the robber" has decided that he has all the information required to charge, try and convict the policeman in question on the basis of a bunch of totally unsubstantiated allegations that he has collected from unnamed sources. The concept of justice seems to have escaped Mr. Bocks' assesment of the case. There are no witnesses, there is no motive for the act, and the officer in question claims to have been responding to a reported break-in from whence the victim was fleeing. Harsh police response? absolutely, hence the need for an unbiased investigation. But what end is served by the tabloid rants of Mr. Bock. Read his blog; he makes it abundantly clear that he knows nothing of the actual facts of the case. Every line is riddled with assumptions and inferences that are unsupported by even a shred of evidence. Mr. Bock, it's 2008 not 1938, we don't lynch people any more just because the mob says yea.

Did you know there is another blog out there with the same name as yours? Except she capitalized the appropriate words in her title.

If you want friends and family to read your blog, put them in it (without their full names, of course) and tell them it's there. People love reading about themselves.

That's why I blog.
